Sprawling spot for margs and tacos before a Nats game
There’s a new restaurant and bar in town that has copious space for Nats fans, #TacoTuesday revelers, and more. The 10,000-square-foot, two-level Navy Yard location of Mission has four bars, including the longest in the city, clocking in at 150 feet. More than a mile of draft lines snake through the building to deliver beer, wine, prosecco, and cocktails to thirsty patrons. Down a few margaritas — classic or fruit-infused — paired with tasty tacos, melty queso fundido, piled high frito pie, and an epic stack of nachos. Mexican tiles tie together the various sections of the restaurant, from the first floor bar to the upstairs dining room and private event space. The second floor is surrounded by spacious balconies for eating and imbibing.
